Phuket 4 Days 3 Nights Trip (Day 1)

It was a last minute decision to go Phuket. Ticket was booked 2 weeks before the trip and there’s no itinerary. Again, with a bag pack, we left Singapore. Our flight was at 8:25AM. Thank goodness, we checked in early. If not we would be late. Off we went!!

Ladies only

The first thing that we did was to get a TRUE SIM card from the airport. FYI, most Thailand airports have a store that sells SIM card and they are really cheap. If I am not wrong, we bought ours at 399 BAHT. Unlimited data and a few minutes of call for 4 days. Why not right?

They took too long to set up the connection

Initially, I thought that there’s free airport transfer from Airport to IndoChine Resort and Villas but there isn’t. Airport transfer is available upon request and it’s not free. If I didn’t remember wrongly, it was 800 BAHT. We hired our own cab since my friend had his contact. It cost us 800 BAHT but at least we know it’s safe.

The travelling time from Airport to IndoChine Resort and Villas was about an hour with smooth traffic. Here we were at our Resort. It was big and nice with an outdoor jacuzzi. Check out our room (:

Our accommodation was booked through Agoda. It cost about SGD 150 per night. The room is nice and relaxing but it’s not very accessible. You can either head to the city by their shuttle service or a cab. The shuttle service only operates at the following time: 11AM, 4PM, 7PM and 9PM. Don’t miss it!

Settled down and we were ready for lunch. Our driver came to pick us up 3PM and brought us to a nearby local food stall called Mee Ton Poe. As usual, their food were just too tasty. Pad Thai was salty and milk was very sweet. Even so, I do like their milk tea.

Our next destination was Old Phuket Town. Frankly speaking, there’s nothing much at Old Phuket town but there’s a small little stall that sells interesting stuffs. Besides that, you can also hop into any cafes located around the area and that’s what we did.

1892 Cafe

I think we sat in the cafe for more than an hour because there’s no where we can go around the area. Partly because, we were too lazy to move. Haha. Time passes really fast during travel. The day was about to turn dark after we finished our coffee and it’s about time for us to head to a cape for Sunset!

Our driver brought us to Rawal Landing Pier and he told us to return back in 10 minutes. First, we thought it was Promthep Cape, the place we wanted to go. Second, we didn’t really hear the 10 minutes. So what did we do? We walked down, sat down on steps and stupidly waiting for the sun to set.

30 minutes later, the driver came to inform us that the place we waited for Sunset at the wrong place. We are too smart. Haha. That time, the sun was in the midst of setting. He quickly drove us to the right destination (Promthep Cape). Thank goodness, we managed to catch the last glimpse of the Sunset. BTW, Promthep Cape is famous for sunset. Be prepared that there’s a lot of tourists.

Sunset means it’s time for dinner. My friend brought us to this seafood restaurant called Sabai Beach. Good food, nice ambience. Do try if you happen to be in Patong Area. Please google for the exact address (:
