You know, there’s no way to wake up early the day after party. We woke up at 11 AM. That’s not too late, isn’t it? Woke up feeling really hungry. So, my little cousin brought us to Devi’s Corner @ Bangsar for Banana Leaf rice. The place was really crowded but it’s not that difficult to find a seat.
Banana Leaf Rice
By default, it came with the following shown in the picture. You can also choose to order side sides like Chicken or Beef that cooked in different way. We ordered Chicken Randang. The rice with the sauce was good but not the Chicken Randang. It tasted a bit blend. All of it cost about RM 75.
There’s not many places we could head to after lunch because it was raining. Hence, we decided to settle down in a cafe. YES, cafe again. haha. We went to a cafe called Ministry of Coffee @ Solaris Mont Kiara. BTW, there’s a number of Korean Restaurants @ Solaris Mont Kiara. If you have any craving, do head there and satisfy your craving. Oh yes, there’s a Cafe Benne (Korean Cafe). This cafe reminded me of Korea. We wanted to try that yesterday but it was way too crowded. Anyway, Ministry of Coffee was a nice place to chill. Less crowded and sofa seats. We sat there for quite a while because the rain doesn’t wanna stop and we couldn’t to anywhere.
Sorry, a bit too dark
The price of the drinks is about RM9.80 on average. Check out the image above, it’s their brunch menu with price stated.
The rain finally stopped and we decided to head back to the apartment. My cousin and my sister can’t have bed within their sight. Once they do, it means sleep. You know what I mean.
There’s not much left before heading to Singapore. Once last meal before heading back to reality. Coming to KL without trying their Bak Kut Teh is like you have never been to KL.Oh yes, that’s was our last meal. Little cousin brought us to an area with numerous Bak Kut Teh stores. We went to the one that he normally goes.
Kepong Lim Kee Bak Kut Teh
We ordered a dry Bak Kut Teh and a soup Bak Kut Teh. I never knew there was dry Bak Kut Teh. It was nice but there’s no taste of Bak Kut Teh. It tasted like black sauce pork. The soup Bak Kut Teh was good. It tasted different from Singapore style, less pepperish and more herbal taste. Do try if you happen to pass by.
That was our final destination for the trip. Though it’s short, it’s good. Special thanks to our cousin, Sze Hao, for hosting us at his apartment and bringing us around despite having exam on Monday. Appreciate much. And also, thanks for being so entertaining. Without you, the trip would not be the same. Study hard for your upcoming exam. Stop eating so many sweets. Last but not least, continue smiling. Obstacles might obstruct your way but once you overcome it, the world can be as beautiful as before. We love you 🙂
