Last day of the trip and we had a flight to catch at 6:25PM. There’s still plenty of time to spare before heading to the airport. The whole morning was spent packing our baggage. We checked out when the time was up and went for breakfast at Australian Diary Co. again. It’s a must eat before heading back to Singapore. Totally fell for their scrambled egg. Yes, that’s how good it was.
Next up destination, West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade. We took a train from Jordon Station to Kowloon station. From there, we navigated there using Google Map. We crossed a super long bridge to the opposite side of the road and there were signs leading us to the entrance of the promenade. It’s a peaceful park that is not too far off from the city. It wasn’t crowded. I supposed not many people know about this place. Oh yes, there’s a bicycle rental service in the park itself. From West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade, we got a full view of Hong Kong Island landscape. BEAUTIFUL!
There’s one hour left before heading to the airport. We discovered a wanton noodle store through people’s recommendation online. It’s just right beside Australian Diary Farm, 麦文记面家 (Mai Wen Ji Mian Jia). It’s delicious. The noodle was chewy and the soup was tasty. Though it’s a small bowl, it’s more than enough to fill our stomach.
There’s still time for dessert. Head to 佳佳甜品 (Jia Jia Tian Pin) to have our last dessert in Hong Kong. It has a rating of 4 in Openrice so I thought it’s worth the try. I ordered a bowl of sesame paste and my sis ordered some sago dessert. To me, all sesame paste taste similar but this time round was without the herb taste. Preferred this to the one we had the day before.
