To replenish our sleep from Day 2, we woke up at 10ish and took our very own sweet time to prepare. We only left our hotel at about 12:30PM for a lunch appointment with my Fiance’s relative. For her convenience (as she needed to pick up her kid from school), we met her at Time Square and we had lunch at 利小馆 (LEI Bistro). I would think it belongs to LEI Garden. We ordered quite a number of dishes and they were all pretty good especially their soup and juicy duck meat. We didn’t get the chance to try their dessert because we were too full. Maybe next time when we visit Hong Kong again 🙂

We didn’t hold up too much of her time because it’s napping time for the little one. Some shopping therapy was what we had after lunch time. Ped Der Red is one of my favorite brand for heels and a number of people told me that it is cheaper in Hong Kong. Ped Der Red do have a branch in Time Square. With good planning comes good shopping. We took sometime to locate the store. In the midst of finding, we discovered another store Staccato. I have walked past this store in Vivo many times but have never tried their shoes before. Randomly, I decided to check out their shoes. No regrets, their shoes are really comfortable. Their wedges and flats are well cushioned. Barely find such comfortable wedges that fits my feet so well, so I decided to bring it back home. That’s a damage of about HKD 850 (Approx. SGD 130). Pretty reasonable for a comfortable shoes like this. Each one of us bought a pair. Well, it’s really cheaper as compared to Singapore. The same exact pair that I bought is selling SGD 200 in Singapore. Was hoping to find nicer heels from Ped Der Red but nothing caught my eyes.
We headed down to the basement to check out on some Hong Kong snacks to be brought back. I didn’t buy a lot but my girlfriend did. There’s a ice cream store that looked appealing and we decided to give it a try. One word, DISAPPOINTED. We bought a banana ice cream crepe which taste like crap and green tea ice cream cone which tasted a bit too sweet. Or maybe it’s just us.
Nothing was planned after our shopping. Walked aimlessly around the area hoping that we would discover something nice. Nah, we didn’t find any.
Time flies when you do something that you like. Few hours later, it’s eating time again (Dinner time). We had our dinner at some duck store that we happened to pass by. It’s called Kam’s Roast Goose. Their goose was not bad but their service staff was too pushy. There’s only that much that we could eat but she kept pushing for half duck. Luckily we didn’t order because I was pretty sure we couldn’t finish.

Our plan was to head to Honolulu cafe for their egg tart. It was out of the way but definitely worth the trip there. Their egg tarts are really good. The tart was crispy and the egg curb was really soft. Besides the egg tarts, we also bought a few bottle of cookies (Cheese, Chocolate and Coffee). It’s cheap and good. I’m not kidding. Because we bought so much, the Aunty did not charge for the egg that that we bought. She even gave us 3 breads to eat while it’s hot. So nice of the Aunty.

Satisfied with our dinner and dessert, we went back to the hotel to unload our stuff before heading to Mongkok for some night shopping. Yes, we went Mongkok every night for food and shopping. We found 五代同糖 dessert store. It was the store that we were searching for 2 days back and couldn’t find. Well, that always happen. When you deliberately wanted to look for something, you will not find it. It appears right in front of you when you don’t. And, we went in for another round of dessert. It’s difficult not to get fat overseas! Anyway, we ordered a Chocolate Lava Cake, juice and mango dessert. I like the mango dessert.
That was the last meal of the day. No more eating. Goodnight to Day 3.
