Hong Kong 6 Days 5 Nights (Day 2)

My sister woke us up 7 AM only because to open the door for my sister. She arrived in Hong Kong at 5 plus in the morning and made her way to the hotel. The king size bed is enough to accommodate 3 of us with ample size to toss and turn.

Went back to bed and woke up 3 hours later. Having been to Hong Kong so many times, I have yet to try the famous Australia Dairy Co. So, we had breakfast there! We arrived at about 10:30 AM. Surprisingly, the queue was unexpectedly short. It took us about 5 minutes to get seated.

We ordered one breakfast set meal which consists of sandwich, macaroni and a cup of coffee/tea. That’s enough for 2 of us to share. Do note that the coffee/tea will only be served after the meal. They will only take your choice after you are done with eating. But I guess you can try to request for it. Besides that, they are really efficient. Upon ordering, your food will be served within a minutes.

I love their food because it’s simple and good especially their scrambled egg. Well, the macaroni is made of campbell soup. It’s not expensive so I don’t really care so long as it taste good. Haha. After meal, we ordered a bowl of steam milk for dessert. Worth trying because it’s really smooth.

The purpose of not eating too full is to have more food! Kam Wah is listed as one of the few cafes with the best Bo Lo Bao. According to the web, it states that it closes at 12 PM. Rushing our way having to find out that they don’t close so early. Thanks to the information on the web…

Initially, we wanted to order only 1 Bo Lo Bao and 1 egg tart. But to sit in, everyone needs to spend a minimum of 20 HKD. We ordered 3 cups of drink to make up the minimum spending per pax. I would recommend to take away if you ain’t gonna gonna a lot. Well, people recommended their Bo Lo Bao but I thought their egg tart tasted so much better. Why? Because the dough of the Bo Lo Bao is too thick.

Enough of food for the time being and we decided to head to habour city. But we were wrong, we hadn’t had enough of food. On the way to Tsim Sha Shui, we bought a stick of curry fish ball. It’s good but there’s only 4 in a stick. So this was what we did in Hong Kong, Non-stop eating.

There is a Chrome Hearts store located in The Peninsula Hotel (Tsim Sha Shui). We went there to check out some stuff for our friend. It’s so freaking expensive. The classic mashed cap cost about SGD 300 bucks. Forget it. LOL

Avenue of Stars is probably the only attraction they we went. It’s located few meters away from The Peninsula. So why not? At Avenue of Stars, you will see hand prints of different Hong Kong celebrities. Find your favourite and take a photo with his/her hand prints 😀

I love outdoor especially when the weather is cooling. Nice view, nice weather and nice place for photo taking. We took tons of photo when we were there.

Uh huh… Time for some shopping! We went to habour city for some windows shopping because it’s too expensive. Nearby Habour City, there’s a huge H&M. I would think the clothes here are cheaper as compared to Singapore. I didn’t buy a lot because it’s winter season clothing. Doesn’t fit Singapore’s weather. Habour City is rather big. You can take your time to shop around that area.

It’s dinner time again! It felt like we just had lunch. Well, time flies. There’s this super awesome Cheese Noodle located right behind The One shopping mall. Never failed to have it when I was in Hong Kong. Thanks to my fiance’s relatives who brought us there. If not, we wouldn’t have known the place.

In Hong Kong, we had the habit of having dessert after dinner even though we were quite full. Just nice, Hui Lau Shan appeared right in front of us. Check out what we had for dessert. Lucky the portion was really small.

Mongkok is our favorite place. We went there for more shopping after dessert. That was partly because my sister only arrived on the second day of our trip. And then, it’s her turn to shop. We brought her to Argyle Center. It’s big enough to shop the whole night but every level is a duplicate. Majority of them sell the same thing. We got bored and left the place after an hour. As we walked, we discovered some food and decided to give it a try even though we just had our dessert. This is what we got 🙂

Unhealthy Food

While walking back to our hotel, we found a traditional dessert store which looked pretty good. So, we packed it back to our hotel in case there’s a minimum spending for dinning in.

Just when I blogged about it, I realized Day 2 was mostly about food.
